The new Springdale came with a Coleman A/C unit and a manual thermostat on the wall right beside the bunk.
The temperature setting on the thermostat is a slider switch and my daughter seems to be incapable of climbing out of this bunk without sliding the switch all the way to 90 degrees.
One trip out and having to reset the stupid thing about 4 times and I decided something had to give.

I followed a writeup that was written by a guy named Les Adams and it worked out perfectly.
His unit was a Duotherm, but he also has instructions for the Coleman unit.
